Detailed Description
XR-300 is a modified silicone defoamer specially designed for glyphosate aqueous formulations. It provides good defoaming and foam suppression, remains stable after dilution, resists emulsion breakdown and exhibits low oil separation.
Usage & Dosage
Add a small amount before foaming occurs to inhibit foam generation. The source gives an initial dosage of approximately 0.05% of the total amount; adjust according to the process.
For an already foaming system, the source describes diluting 2–3 times with water and distributing the diluted product into the foaming solution.
Precautions for Use
Stir properly before use. Use cold water or the foaming solution for dilution and use immediately after dilution. Do not dilute with hot water.
Adding an appropriate amount before foaming improves foam suppression. Avoid excessive addition.
For complete dispersion, the source recommends three parts or more of cold water or foaming solution.
Packaging
50 kg or 200 kg plastic-lined drums, or packaging by agreement.
Storage & Handling
Store at room temperature, away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Avoid contact with acids, alkalis and salts. Do not store the product for long periods after dilution.
If layering occurs after more than six months of storage, mix well before use.
